Started making an effort to watch more drag shows after a friend told me he thought i was more of a tranny than a gay. since its almost october anyway i figure this is as good a time as i'm gonna get to start pulling together a drag character. the "transformation" process is a little daunting, especially the dark and strange world of makeup. plus i really do not care for that term. transformation.
thankfully i don't have to rely exclusively the web for how to's. there are stripper supply stores in the neighborhood who carry man sized platform shoes, wigs and the million other things a guy needs to rock a tragic and insulting impersonation of the opposite gender.
Also helpful is the encyclopedia article outlining the basics, including the canon of drag films (one of which was dissed on wednesday by a particularly sassy bitch). i'm trying to cover the basics as much as possible before things start getting publicly embarrassing.
